Blonnie & Bill Wesbrooks
AKA Country Music Legends Cousin Wilbur & Blondie Brooks
Blonnie and Bill Wesbrooks, known throughout the country music scene as “Cousin Wilbur and Blondie Brooks” were staples in the mid to late twentieth century Country Western entertainment industry. Writers and entertainers that powered the Nashville music scene of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, this powerful duo went on to host their own live television show on WLOS TV, The WWVA Wheeling Jamboree, in addition to the Louisiana Hayride, USO Tours and many other radio and television stations.
Blonnie “Blondie” Wesbrook’s legacy is not limited to music; she was a talented cook as well. On the back of every bag of White Lily Flour is Blondie’s own biscuit recipe. A passionate collector of art, the late country star can be seen in the photos below with some of her most beloved pieces.
