GENERAL FRIDOLIN VON SENGER UND ETTERLIN UNIFORM
Uniform & accoutrements belonging to General Fridolin von Senger und Etterlin (1891-1963), commander of Wehrmacht forces during Operation Barbarossa and the Allied Invasion of Italy. Senger's crowning moment in the war came during the Battle of Monte Cassino. A number of items accompany the uniform, including suitcase, wallet, personalized officer's dagger, and several books by Senger.

ALLGEMEINE SS STANDARTENFUHRER TUNIC
Black wool tunic with shoulder boards, collar tabs, silver bullion wire piping, 3 ribbon awards, a Reichsadler patch, and SS-Hauptamt cuff title. In 1928 Standartenfuhrer became one of the first commissioned NSDAP ranks and was bestowed on SA and SS officers in command of a Standarte, a unit of 300-500 men equivalent to an army battalion.
