US WAR OF 1812 MASSACHUSETTS STATE CANTEEN
Federal U.S. canteen from the War of 1812, with the traditional 'U.S.' painted over with a 'M.S.' for Massachusetts state. New England states repainted canteens as a war protest. A unique artifact of the period.
AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR PERSONAL POWDER KEG
Personal powder keg from the American Revolutionary War. Handmade from wood with iron bindings and hash marked.


CIVIL WAR HAND PAINTED MODEL 1858 BULLSEYE CANTEEN
U.S. model 1858 bullseye canteen, likely used by a Union soldier. Painted to depict two crossed American flags over a floral scene with the dates 1861-1865.
AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR POWDER BARREL
Belonged to Wagoner Peter Limer, who served in the Continental cavalry with the General Pulaski Legion 1777-1779. He escaped after the Battle of Savannah and returned to Charleston then to Virginia where he served at the Battle of Yorktown in 1781. Purchased directly from the Limer family.

FRENCH VIVANDIERE CANTINIERE PAINTED TONNELET
Napoleonic-era tonnelet patriotic barrel canteen for a vivindiare or cantiniere, a woman associated with a military unit who would disperse water during battle and camp. Painted with the tri-color, has a brass grenade emblem mounted on the side, and a white strap with brass insignia decoration..
